Japan Images: Meguro Aki

Autumn (秋 – あき) anywhere in the world is normally very beautiful but in Japan I think it’s especially amazing. This may be because I come from a country that essentially only has two seasons, a bit hot and then a bit cool and then back to a bit hot again and so on. ^_^
The banks of Meguro River come alive with the Cherry Blossoms early in the year and then the stunning orange, gold and red leaves of Autumn (秋 – あき) arrive later in the year (Sep – Oct).
This image was taken where Meguro-dori (目黒通り) crosses Meguro River (目黒川).

Autumn is a great time to be in Japan with the beautiful colours of the leaves especially in the mountains :)

LikeDefinitely agree that Autumn in Japan is fantastic... makes you feel just a little sad to live in a country covered in evergreens!
