You could easily get lost for a whole day in the labyrinth of tunnels that feed in and out of the subway area of Ginza, Tokyo.
There are tunnels that stretch out for many street blocks and deliver commuters to the offices and shopping centres that litter one of Tokyo’s most glamourous and expensive suburbs.

The kanji in the sign – 出口 – indicate an Exit. The two kanji are “出” – which means exit; leave or go out and the second is “口” – meaning mouth, which in this case means an opening. The two kanji together sound as でぐち (de-gu-chi).
The characters under the word “Exit” are Korean hangul.
