The point of not writing in romaji is to make sure you already KNOW how to pronounce it just by reading the hiragana. I don’t mean to sound pushy or mean, but if you can’t read hiragana, I would suggest going back and learning to.

Yes that’s correct – there are two verbs for “to play” and one has the sexual connotation, meaning “to play around”. The other one is あそび (遊び) – JLPT3.

あそぶ can also means to have sex…. i say this because… one night as i was wandering in Tokyo, a woman grabbed me by the arm and said “あそびへ行く”… which i had no idea what she meant. >_< until she told me in english. eeeee… might not be the same word as “to play”, but anyway, it’s very similar in speech. Might be written with a different Kanji.
