Japan Images: Nikko Autumn Leaves

I had decided before arriving in Japan on a recent visit to Tokyo that I would make the two hour trip north to Nikko (日光市) at some point during our stay.
We got the usual Tokyo (東京) clouds and/or light drizzle on most days but thankfully on the morning that it counted I woke up to a spectacular winter’s day, which helped make the visit to Nikko an unforgettable experience.
We don’t really get any seasons in the northern part of Australia where I’m from – it gets a bit hotter in summer and a bit colder in winter and that’s about it (^_^).
Your pictures make me want to go to Japan so badly… 日本はすばらしいですね。
If someone told me I would fall in love with a country two years ago, I would scoff.
